Foundation Qigong
For decades, Master FaXiang Hou has taught and applied Medical Qigong to help individuals facing chronic conditions through traditional guided practice and internal development.
After coming to the United States in the 1990s, Master Hou became known for his work with individuals suffering from chronic conditions and for participating in multiple Medical Qigong-related studies, including research involving fibromyalgia, knee pain, and lower back pain.
Foundation Qigong introduces students to the foundational training system behind this work.
For many students, Foundation Qigong becomes the beginning of a deeper understanding of internal development, traditional practice, and the ability to better support themselves and those around them.
This training is designed not only for personal development, but also for those seeking to better support the well-being of their families, loved ones, and continued understanding of Medical Qigong practice.
In this 10-week live online course, students learn the foundational exercises and principles taught within Master Hou’s Medical Qigong system.
This includes methods used to perceive, direct, and build internal energy through structured traditional practice rooted in generations of teaching.

Pathway to Further Training
Foundation Qigong is the first step in Master Hou’s training system and may be taken alongside Continuing Qigong online, Then you are ready to apply what you learned on a deeper level in Applied Qigong.
