What You Need to Know
What you will need:
- Mental preparation
- A lot of good quality spring water
- Loose, comfortable clothing suitable for performing gentle exercises
- A yoga mat, or comfortable rug
- A sturdy chair
- The ingredients for breaking the fast
When you should start Fasting:
That is your decision, but for first time students we suggest making lunch your last meal on Thursday
When you should stop Fasting:
After you start fasting you must wait a minimum of 72 hours before you resume eating. Doing less than this can hurt your body. When we break the fast we do so in a very special way. See Breaking the Fast section for further instructions.
