Course recap
In this Continuing QiGong Course you built upon the exercises, theory, and principles taught in the Foundation Class. You furthered your understanding of the core principles of Chinese Medicine: the theory of Qi, the theory of Yin and Yang, and the theory of The Five Elements. You also learned on a more intimate level how these theories are applied in a traditional Chinese QiGong Practice, and how you can make advantage of your Energy Centers (or Dan Tians) and your Meridian System.

- Variations of the Qi Ball- A deeper insight into connecting Life Essence and how we can distinguish between Yin and Yang energy
- The Standing Pole- Learning to store power in your lower dan tian
- Reverse Breathing Exercises- Managing your yang energy
You also took a powerful meditation to a deeper level:
- The Sun Through The Pole Meditation- Connecting the Sun's energy power through your different organs and elements
You were taught some new QiGong exercises:
- Diamonds- Balancing the 5 elements and universal Qi for your body
- The Turtle 2- More for your neck, spine, and balance
- Qi Spirals- Purifying your different joints
- Qi From the Elements- Connect your body to nature in order to balance your energy
You learned a unique QiGong exercise involving self-acupressur:

You also were introduced to Master Hou's special form:
- The Five Elements Form- Move Universal Energy through the upper half of the body to tonic each of the five elements
Through this course, in combination with Foundation QiGong, you now have learned the necessary skills to build a healthful, centering routine of QiGong. These exercises will enhance your body's understanding and control of energy, or Qi. Now that you have learned them, it is important to continue practicing them on a regular basis.
