Master FaXiang Hou's Foundation Qigong -- Fall 2026

Master FaXiang Hou’s Foundation Qigong is a 10-week live online course rooted in his fifth-generation Medical Qigong lineage. Students learn Foundation Qigong exercises and Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts taught within Master Hou’s system. This is the same lineage-based system used within his treatments, Applied Qigong courses, and Applied Qigong study groups. Classes begin September 14, 2026 and meet live online every Monday at 6:00 PM Eastern for 10 consecutive weeks. Recordings are available for viewing during the course. No prior experience is necessary.

Continuing Qigong: Medical Qigong in Practice – Fall 2026

Learn the same Medical Qigong exercises Master FaXiang Hou has taught and applied for more than 30 years as a Fifth-Generation Master of his family’s lineage. In this 10-week Continuing Qigong course, students deepen their understanding of the Five Elements and Six Organs while learning exercises designed to improve balance, address blockage, and support well-being. Medical Qigong is more than a personal practice. Students gain practical tools to support themselves, their families, loved ones, and even their pets. Master Hou’s work has also been involved in clinical research, including fibromyalgia, knee pain, and a recently completed collaboration with New York Medical College examining Medical Qigong for chronic low back pain. Suitable for students of all ages, this course serves as an important step toward future Applied Qigong Therapy training. Foundation Qigong is a prerequisite and may be taken concurrently.

How do Foundation and Continuing Qigong work together?

Master Hou’s Foundation and Continuing Qigong are designed as one complete Fifth-Generation Medical Qigong system—not two separate courses.

Foundation teaches the essential exercises and principles for connecting with universal Qi and developing internal energy. Continuing builds upon that foundation by strengthening, refining, and expanding the Qi you cultivate.

Together, these courses prepare students for Master Hou’s Applied Qigong program, where students learn to apply the skills developed through Foundation and Continuing Qigong to help themselves and others.

Do I need previous Qigong experience?

No. Master Hou’s Foundation Qigong is the first stage of his Fifth-Generation Medical Qigong system and is designed to teach the essential principles and exercises on which the entire system is built.

Whether you are new to Qigong or have practiced other styles, Foundation Qigong provides the training needed to learn Master Hou’s unique Medical Qigong system. Foundation and Continuing Qigong may be taken together.

What if I miss a live class?

If you are unable to attend a live class, a recording will be available for enrolled students to view in Teachable during the 10-week course. Recordings are provided to help students stay current with the class and are not downloadable.

Can I receive a refund?

We want every student to feel confident in their enrollment.

Refund requests may be considered before course access has been granted and within the applicable refund period.

Once you have accessed the course, attended a live class, viewed class recordings, or accessed any course materials (including PDFs), your purchase is non-refundable. Enrollment provides access to proprietary educational content that cannot be returned.
